Youn man in helmet and ski googles standing with snowboard. Freeze motion of falling snow.

Hi everyone,

So you may not be flying down the mountain like this girl, but you can still feel great and do things without back and neck pain.  Staying fit, especially in the winter is very important.   It’s easy to do nothing, get lazy and stay in doors. With all the snow you’ll be shoveling it’s very important to watch your posture when you shovel. One easy tip.  Before you begin to bend over and shovel, pull your ribs up and out from your pelvis. This will lengthen your spine and protect your from pinching or pulling muscles when you go into the act of flexing at the waist. Hope that helps.  Maybe we’ll have a snow free Winter.  I highly doubt it.
